Device Refresh - Dell Laptops to replace SurfacesAll Cambridge 9th-11th grade students, who currently have a school-issued Microsoft Surface, are required to exchange them for a Dell Laptop.
Face to Face Students Face to Face students in 9th-11th grades who have a Surface checked out should bring their device AND charger to school on Monday, March 8 – Wednesday, March 10. During lunch, students will be able to return their Surface, checkout a new laptop, and set up their device. Virtual Students Virtual students in 9th-11th grades who have Surfaces checked out will need to bring their device AND charger to school on Monday, March 15, according to the following schedule: 9:00 - 10:00 - Last names A – D 10:00 – 11:00 – Last names E – J 12:00 – 1:00 – Last names K – M 1:00 – 2:00 – Last names N – R 2:00 – 3:00 – Last names S – Z 1) Drive in at the Bethany Bend entrance 2) You will be directed to drive to the gym side or the cafeteria side of the school 3) Students exit the car to bring their device to the check-in/out station 4) Students will receive their new laptop checked out to them 5) Completion of the device setup process requires a connection to the school network. To do this, students can either:
*Important Notes* Juniors taking the ACT at Cambridge on March 30 MUST have a school issued device. No loaner laptops will be available the day of the test. Seniors will return their Surface devices to Cambridge at the end of the school year. If they are having issues with their Surface and would like to exchange it for a laptop, please contact Mrs. Morgan at morganl1@fultonschools.org. Do you have a question that you would typically bring to the Student Center? Well, we are set up to help you remotely! If you are having Surface issues, account struggles, or just need help to navigate technology in our new remote learning environment, the Student Center can help. New Student Center Microsoft Teams The Student Center staff, is missing all our regular visitors! We have created a Student Center Microsoft Team, where you can come visit us! Go to Microsoft Teams and Join a Team using the code nhsay9o. The Student Center has a channel set up for Tech Talk with lots of information to help navigate remote learning. There is also a channel called All About Books, where you can share what you are reading or get a recommendation for your next book.
