Cute book about a stressed out teenager who decided to live with her dad in Tahoe for a break from her high-pressure, high expectation life in San Diego with her mom after she has a highly visible meltdown. Very relevant subject. Tackles some tough issues. Still stays light and young teen appropriate.

This book grabbed my attention because of the cute cover and because it is about sisters. The story involves a virus that causes people to be infertile after they turn 18. This means that teenagers become the main breeders for society so the book is about teenagers wanting to get pregnant. Although, I guess in the end there's a message about girls choosing their own path against societal demands.

This book interested me because the main character who tells the story is a librarian. The storytelling style made it easy to get into the book. Although it was a little slow through the middle; overall, the book was a good read.
